Former Raiders punter Marquette King reportedly won't be a Bronco for much longer.
Denver will place King (thigh) on injured reserve, after he didn't practice all week. The Broncos will release him when he's healthy, according to NFL Network's James Palmer.

SIGN UP HERE The Raiders cut King in March, and King signed a three-year deal with Broncos just days later. At the time, King told reporters "there is somewhat of a revenge factor" in his decision to sign with an AFC West rival. The 29-year-old trolled Oakland head coach Jon Gruden, who reportedly cut King over his personality, after Denver's Week 2 victory over the Silver and Black.
But King struggled in his first season away from the East Bay, averaging a career-worst 44.1 yards per punt and 39.7 yards net average. He would have returned to Oakland for the first time on Dec. 24, but now the former fan favorite likely won't make the trip.
