Jeffery is currently playing on a $14.6 million franchise tag. The team has until 1:00pm PT on July 15 to complete a multi-year contract with their 2012 pick, or he will play 2016 on the tag and become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.
Jeffery, 26, has twice surpassed the 1,000-yard mark when playing 14 or more games in a season. He had a career-best season in 2013, in which he was named a Pro Bowler, with a line of 89 receptions, 1,421 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
