The 49ers have reportedly agreed to terms with former New York Giants offensive lineman Weston Richburg.
Richburg intends to sign a five-year contract with the 49ers, reports ESPN. The deal is not permitted to become official until Wednesday, 1 p.m. (PT).
Richburg (6-3, 298) started 50 of the 51 games in which he appeared for the Giants since entering the NFL in 2014 as a second-round draft pick (No. 43 overall).

SIGN UP HERE He played in just four games for the Giants last season. He was placed on season-ending injured reserve on Nov. 4 after being in concussion protocol after sustaining a head injury on Oct. 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Richburg started at left guard for the Giants as a rookie in 2014 before moving to center, where he opened the season as the the starter the past three years. He turns 27 in July.
The 49ers signed veteran center Daniel Kilgore to a three-year, $11.75 million contract extension last month to prevent him from becoming a free agent. Last week at the NFL Scouting Combine, Kyle Shanahan said he fully expects Kilgore to be the team’s starting center.
The 49ers have uncertainty at the guard positions, which were considered among the team's top positions of need.

Laken Tomlinson started 15 games last seasons last season at left guard. He enters the final year of his contract. Right guard Brandon Fusco, a 16-game starter, is an unrestricted free agent. Joshua Garnett, a first-round draft pick in 2016, is expected to compete for a spot on the team after spending last season on injured reserve with a knee condition.
