The 49ers are one of five teams to reportedly show interest in signing Cleveland Browns free-agent wide receiver Terrelle Pryor.
Teams are allowed to begin negotiating with prospective free agents on Tuesday at 9 a.m. (PT). Contracts are not allowed to be signed until the official opening of the new league year on Thursday at 1 p.m. Pryor's agent is Drew Rosenhaus.
In his first full seasons as a wide receiver, Pryor caught 77 passes for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns with the Browns. He spent his first three NFL seasons as a quarterback with the Raiders.

Pryor is drawing interest from the 49ers, Pittsburgh, New York Giants, Tennessee and Philadelphia, league sources told Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com.
The Browns remain interested in re-signing Pryor. The team opted to not tag him as their franchise player.
“Terrelle was a huge piece of what we did a year ago,” Browns coach Hue Jackson said at the NFL Scouting Combine. “Obviously, we’re working through that. And it has to work both ways for all involved – for him, fur us and hopefully it will. Hopefully we can get that done soon.”
The 49ers signed slot receiver Jeremy Kerley to a three-year extension on Saturday. The team is also expected to pursue Washington free-agent receiver Pierre Garcon. Chicago’s Alshon Jeffery is expected to be the top receiver on the free-agent market.
