Raiders running back Josh Jacobs missed his first game of the season last week, and the tea leaves would seem to suggest he is in danger of missing the next one, too -- if not more.
NFL Media's Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday that Las Vegas brought in former Kansas City Chiefs running back Spencer Ware for a visit.

Ware, 29, is a five-year NFL veteran, having spent his last four seasons with the rival Chiefs. Across 43 career games, he has rushed 357 times for 1,631 yards and 11 touchdowns, and added 64 receptions for 698 yards and another two scores.
The fact that Las Vegas brought Ware in for a visit doesn't bode well for Jacobs' availability for the Raiders' home game against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 14. He missed their thrilling last-second win over the New York Jets on Sunday with an ankle injury.

If Jacobs is unable to play, Devontae Booker likely would lead the Raiders' backfield against the Colts, after he rushed 16 times for 50 yards in the win over the Jets. Ware, if signed, would provide Las Vegas with additional depth.
