Raiders-Jets predictions: Will NY get first win vs. Vegas?

Similar to the 2019 season, the Raiders enter a road matchup against the New York Jets as heavy, heavy favorites in Week 13.

But unlike last year, coach Jon Gruden and the Raiders will be seeking a much different result, as the Raiders were blown out 34-3 at MetLife Stadium in Week 12 of last season, after entering as 3.5-point favorites.

The Jets are winless through 11 games and will be more than a touchdown underdog for Sunday's clash in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Line: Raiders -7.5

Las Vegas will be without one of the team's most important offensive players, as Josh Jacobs will not play due to an ankle injury.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has struggled in his career when playing in cold weather, and with temperatures not expected to exceed 41 degrees in the MetLife Stadium area Sunday, the veteran's 3-11 record in sub-50 degree weather could come into play (h/t Levi Damien, Raiders Wire).

Jets QB Sam Darnold returned to the lineup last week after missing several games with a shoulder injury, but completed just 59.2 percent of his passes and threw two interceptions with no touchdowns, so we might not see much offense in this game.
