Embattled ex-Raiders receiver Brown scores TD in Super Bowl LV

Antonio Brown only suited up in the Silver and Black for a single preseason game in 2019 with the Raiders.

But the messy marriage and subsequent divorce will be likely remembered by Raiders fans as long as Brown keeps finding a way to stay in the NFL.

Despite allegations of sexual assault, getting investigated for domestic violence and being arrested for the assault of a delivery truck driver, Brown has been able to keep an NFL job with his ability to catch the football.

Brown’s comeback reached a crescendo on Sunday when he hauled in a touchdown pass from Tom Brady to help give the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a 21-6 lead over the Kansas City Chiefs in the first half of Super Bowl LV.

Brown and the Bucs ultimately won the Super Bowl, 31-9, over the Chiefs.

Tampa Bay added Brown in October after the embattled receiver was out of football to begin the season and repeatedly declared his retirement from the sport. Clearly, Tom Brady and Brown have some sort of chemistry, dating back to their 2019 season together in New England.

It’s also further proof that if you are big or fast enough and can play football, the NFL is willing to look the other way off-field transgressions that would normally get any other citizen fired from their job.
