The Oakland Raiders have signed LB Korey Toomer to the active roster, the club announced Saturday.

Toomer, who was originally signed by the Raiders to their practice squad on Tuesday, joined the team after stops with the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Rams.

He was originally drafted by the Seahawks in the fifth round (154th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. He spent the majority of his first two seasons on the Seahawks’ practice squad before joining the Cowboys in 2014, where he played one game. Following a short stint in Dallas, he appeared in seven games for St. Louis last year. Toomer spent the 2015 offseason program and training camp with the Rams before being waived at the end of camp. For his career, he has played in eight games, making seven tackles.

The 6-foot-2, 235-pounder played three seasons at Idaho after transferring from Arizona Western College after two years. He appeared in 25 games for the Vandals, totaling 77 tackles (44 solo), four sacks, three interceptions and five passes defensed.

In a corresponding move, the Raiders have waived DE Shelby Harris.
