Raiders center Rodney Hudson has made the Pro Bowl three of the past four seasons. Respect is regularly given for one of the NFL’s elite offensive linemen, someone as soft-spoken as he is talented.
This is, however, the first time he has been honored as an All-Pro. Hudson made the second team, the Associated Press announced on Friday, after a stellar 2019 campaign where he anchored an impactful offensive line.
The Raiders were solid opening lanes for the run and protecting quarterback Derek Carr, always prepared well by the cerebral NFL center who dives headfirst into film study and schematic prep work.

SIGN UP HERE Hudson’s an awesome on-field performer as well. He allowed just three quarterback pressures all season, with one quarterback hit, two hurries and zero sacks. Raiders rushers ran for 4.1 yards per carry between him and the left guard, and 4.5 yards per carry going to his right.
Hudson also is fast and agile enough to pull out and block at the second level if required.
That's why the Raiders gave Hudson a lucravtive contract extension through 2022.

NFL
Hudson made the second team, with Philadelphia center Jason Kelce as the first-team center. Kelce had 29 votes and Hudson had nine.
Right tackle Trent Brown wasn’t named to the All-Pro team but received two votes. Tight end Darren Waller received one vote as a flex player. George Kittle and Travis Kelce received all of the votes at Waller’s position.
