ALAMEDA -- The Raiders traded up to the 92nd pick and selected Joseph Barksdale, the 6-foot-5 and 235-pound offensive lineman out of LSU.

Barksdale was named to the SEC second-team in 2010.

Barksdale started 39 consecutive games for the Tigers, playing both tackle positions. Raiders coach Hue Jackson said Barksdale will be kept on the right side.
