GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Raiders' 31-0 halftime deficit to the Green Bay Packers is the largest in franchise history. The previous largest was the 30-0 the Raiders trailed by at San Diego on Sept. 17, 1961, when late Raiders owner Al Davis was an assistant on the Chargers' staff. The Chargers won that day, 44-0.
This game could have been worse, were it not for an overturned call that resulted in a Mike Mitchell interception in the end zone with 4:08 left in the half. The Raiders were outgained in total yardage, 296-167, and quarterback Carson Palmer threw three interceptions, including one in the end zone, and was just 11 of 21 for 115 yards for a passer rating of 29.0.
