Raiders QB Derek Carr has a question about Chris Paul joining Rockets

This past season, the Rockets made James Harden the primary point guard and the offense took off. He had the fifth highest usage percentage among players with at least 31 games played at 34.1 percent while the Rockets averaged 115.3 points per game, second behind only the Warriors (115.9).

Harden also led the NBA in assists with 11.2 per game.

On Wednesday morning, the reportedly agreed to acquire All-NBA point guard Chris Paul from the Clippers, who finished fourth in the NBA with 9.2 assists per game.

When news of the deal between the Clippers and Rockets broke, it stunned most observers including Derek Carr. The Raiders quarterback thought about a backcourt featuring two ball-dominant players and raised a good question.

"Chris Paul and James Harden... wow! Who's bringing the ball up??" Carr wrote on Twitter.

While the Rockets offense flourished with Harden at the point guard, he's primarily been a shooting guard during his career.

Paul enters the equation as one of the most accomplished point guards in NBA history. He's averaging 9.89 assists per game over his career, behind only Magic Johnson (11.19) and John Stockton (9.89).

Carr poses a very valid question, but safe bet is Harden deferring to Paul.
