Raiders notebook: McClain too sore to play

Coach (Tom) Cable will tell you at the end of the press conference.Told Cable said it was sore, a sheepish McClain obliged.Sounds good to me, McClain said. If he said it, its real.Kirk Morrison spent his first five seasons in the NFL with the Raiders,led them in tackles four years running and downplayed the connectionthis week.He kept it up after the game, when asked if he felt at all for thedefense he ran being shredded by so many big plays in the second half.Nah, man, the Oakland native said with a laugh. You know what, Iwasnt even thinking about them. Its all about us, man. We went outand played our game.Now that its over, Im just happy we got the win. Its all about theJaguars. I wish that team (the Raiders) the best of luck. Theyve beenplaying good football but theyre on the other side right now.Morrison, who had a game-high seven tackles and also made a beeline topay his respects to Raiders owner Al Davis as he was on his way to theteam bus.We gift-wrapped 17 points at the beginning of the game and the second half, we just played our game, Morrison said.The Raiders entered the day tied for the league lead in sacks (38) withPittsburgh but had only one against Jacksonville.
