Raiders injury report: Tyrell Williams part of questionable receiver trio

WATFORD, England – The Raiders receiver corps is pretty banged up. Half of the position group is on Friday’s injury report heading into Sunday’s game against Chicago at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tyrell Williams, J.J. Nelson and Dwayne Harris were all designated as questionable, with varying degrees of optimism regarding their playing status.

Williams hasn’t practiced all week with a foot injury, but there’s a sense that he’ll be able to play with a week’s rest. That would be an important development if it follows what sources consider a realistic expectation that he’ll be ready to go come kickoff. The Raiders' receiver corps loses some teeth without Williams, with young, new or ailing pass-catchers beyond that.

Nelson’s participation level has been up and down some this week. So has Harris, returning to practice this week after a few weeks down with an ankle sprain.

The Raiders haven’t had much production outside Williams, though Trevor Davis finds himself integrated more into the offense each week.

Left guard Richie Incognito showed up on the practice report Friday, missing time with a back injury. He, too, is formally questionable.

Clelin Ferrell’s a major wild card heading into this game, designated questionable while in the concussion protocol. While he hasn’t been sterling in the early going, losing a three-down player would be a significant loss. He plays outside in the base defense and slides in on passing downs.

He should take the final test of the concussion protocol Saturday, meaning we could know more on Ferrell on that day.
