Raiders injury report for Thursday: Seymour has setback

ALAMEDA -- Richard Seymour's balky hamstring tightened up on him in practice Thursday as the defensive tackle had a setback, according to coach Dennis Allen.

"We'll evaluate him as we finish out the week," Allen said, "but I thought he practiced well yesterday and then early today. It kind of grabbed him a little bit, so we'll see."

Seymour has missed five straight games.

And despite strong safety Tyvon Branch missing his third straight practice with neck and ankle issues, Allen is holding out hope Branch plays Sunday against Kansas City.

Darren McFadden, meanwhile is on track to play after re-aggravating the high ankle sprain Dec. 6 that had kept him out of the previous four games.

"Darren's been great," Allen said. "He's been great all week. I haven;t noticed anything where he's had any issues at all, and so I'm really kind of expecting him to be a full go."

Following, then, is the Raiders' injury report for Thursday:

Did not participate -- SS Tyvon Branch (neck/ankle).

Limited participation in practice -- RT Khalif Barnes (triceps), CB Michael Huff (wrist), DT Richard Seymour (knee/hamstring).

Full participation in practice -- DE Jack Crawford (toe), RB Darren McFadden (ankle), S Mike Mitchell (neck).
