Pundits thought he would test the market as a free agent this offseason, but Michael Crabtree has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him in Silver and Black through the 2019 NFL season.

Crabtree and the Raiders on Wednesday agreed to a four-year contract extension, Raiders Insider Scott Bair has confirmed. The Raiders are expected to make an announcement later Wednesday evening.

The extension is reportedly worth $35 million with nearly $19 million guaranteed, according to an NFL.com report, carrying an average annual value of $8.75 million.

The 28-year-old wideout is in the midst of a one-year, $3.2 million contract with the Raiders after spending his first six NFL seasons in San Francisco.

Crabtree has 413 receptions for 5,087 yards and 33 touchdowns over his seven-year NFL career.

The news was first reported by Adam Caplan of ESPN.
