ALAMEDA -- A day after cutting him to make room on the roster for fellow safety Chinedum Ndukwe, the Raiders announced signing Jerome Boyd to the practice squad on Thursday."I have a lot of respect for Jerome Boyd, I think he is a good football player," Raiders coach Hue Jackson said Wednesday afternoon. "But if I can get us better at any position, that's what I am going to do. And hopefully, who knows, Jerome may be back here. Well see."
It was clear later that day.
