Raiders 2016 NFL Draft preview: Three picks in Top 75

The Raiders on Thursday head into their fifth draft under general manager Reggie McKenzie.

Here is a look at his draft capital, needs and where the team selects.

Oakland Raiders (8)
Round 1, 14
Round 2, 44
Round 3, 75
Round 4, 114
Round 5, 143
Round 5, 154
Round 6, 194
Round 7, 234

Overview: The Raiders landed their additional fifth-round pick in last year's WR Brice Butler trade. (Butler caught 12 passes in seven games with Dallas.) GM Reggie McKenzie will have three top-75 chances to add early-impact players to a roster that presently looks like a sleeper to contend in the AFC West. Expect the Raiders to use one of those selections on a running back. Ezekiel Elliott seems unlikely to be available at No. 14, but Oakland couldaddress its defensive line or secondary early before targeting a versatile back like Louisiana Tech's Kenneth Dixon, Utah's Devontae Booker, or Notre Dame's C.J. Prosise on day two.
