Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa was not shy about expressing his political views on social media.
He unabashedly supported Donald Trump, teased Democrats and criticized Colin Kaepernick for choosing to take a knee during the national anthem in 2016 in his protest of racial inequality.
But his politically motivated views are no longer being expressed -- or have disappeared altogether -- on Bosa’s Twitter account. In an interview with Kevin Van Valkenburg of ESPN, Bosa said the reason is because of the area in which he might end up playing professional football.

"I had to," said Bosa, who grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. "There is a chance I might end up in San Francisco."

The 49ers have the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, and Bosa is the leading candidate to be chosen with that selection if the Arizona Cardinals select quarterback Kyler Murray at No. 1 overall.
