Jay Glazer of Fox Sports and The Athletic reported Saturday morning that the Texans have agreed to trade former No. 1 overall draft pick Jadeveon Clowney to the Seahawks.

Adding Clowney to the Seahawks clearly spells trouble for the 49ers. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound edge rusher is one of the best in the business when healthy. Clowney recorded nine sacks in 15 games last season and added 16 tackles for loss.
Clowney has registered 29 sacks in 62 career games with 64 tackles for loss.

The Seahawks lost defensive end Frank Clark in the offseason, but have now added Clowney and Ezekiel Ansah to their pass rush. Seattle might not have its dominant defense of the past, but the group won't be one to scoff at.

The 49ers' main objective is keeping quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo healthy and on his feet. Containing Clowney won't be an easy task.
San Francisco first faces Seattle in Week 10 on Monday Night Football. If healthy, Clowney will be at the top of the list for players coach Kyle Shanahan's offense will have to stop.
