Now, Brown possibly could earn even more as a Patriot.

Brown asked the Raiders to release him Saturday in an Instagram post after the Raiders voided $29.125 million in contract guarantees due to conduct detrimental to the team. His wish was granted, and now the four-time All-Pro joins a team that beat his old Steelers teammates, 33-3, in their season opener Sunday night.
