Derek Carr's Raiders won. C.J. Beathard and the 49ers lost.

Here’s how it breaks down across the NFL, heading into Week 5:

1. Drew Brees, Saints: To become the NFL’s all-time passing leader, he needs just 201 yards, something he typically could do in his sleep. (Last week: 1)

2. Tom Brady, Patriots: Gisele becomes even more popular in New England with her statement that she's fine with her husband playing football for as long as he wants. (3)

3. Aaron Rodgers, Packers: A little drama in Green Bay, as Rodgers complains the offense should get the ball more often to Davante Adams and Jimmy Graham. Then, coach Mike McCarthy reminds everyone that Rodgers is the guy throwing the passes. (2)

4. Jared Goff, Rams: Only in the convoluted-yet-oddly-telling equation that is the NFL passer rating is a score of 158.3 considered perfect. That was Goff last Thursday against the Vikings. (5)

5. Philip Rivers, Chargers: Unlike every other quarterback in the league, Rivers has to contend with a full-throated crowd against him for all 16 games. (4)

6. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs: We already knew he was a gifted right-handed thrower, but he has a 91.7 passer rating when he transforms into a lefty. (9)

7. Alex Smith, Redskins: Sorry, Alex, but the guy who replaced you in K.C. also jumped over you in the rankings while you were enjoying your bye week. (6)

8. Russell Wilson, Seahawks: Seattle now has won more games (75) with Wilson at QB than with anyone else in franchise history. Each win from here will be an accomplishment. (7)

9. Matt Ryan, Falcons: He became the first QB in history to throw for 350 or more yards and at least three TDs with no interceptions and be on the losing end in back-to-back weeks. (10)

10. Matthew Stafford, Lions: Things are going a lot better for him since his four-interception opener. (11)

11. Kirk Cousins, Vikings: He was almost as good as it gets Thursday in L.A. But Goff was a lot better. (13)

12. Cam Newton, Panthers: After averaging 13.4 interceptions per season in his first seven years, he has been picked off only once in three games this season. (12)

13. Andy Dalton, Bengals: The loss of Tyler Eifert hurts, but it’s something to which, unfortunately, Cincinnati has grown accustomed. (14)

14. Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers: "I'm not on the same page with anybody right now.” Uh, that’s not good, even if you are leading the NFL in passing yards. (8)

15. Carson Wentz, Eagles: It starts with protecting the quarterback, and Philly's O-line gets a failing grade. (16)

16. Deshaun Watson, Texans: Speaking of which ... via the Houston Chronicle, Watson is on pace to be sacked 68 times and hit 172 times. (18)

17. Eli Manning, Giants: The mild-mannered Manning bristled this week when suggested he needs to play with less caution. (19)

18. DEREK CARR, RAIDERS: Carr led a come-from-behind effort to earn Jon Gruden his first win since returning to Oakland. And, yes, it counts, even if it was against the Browns. (20)

19. Joe Flacco, Ravens: He’s on pace for the most TD passes and the fewest interceptions of his 11-year career. (21)

20. Mitchell Trubisky, Bears: Six TD passes for the season sounds more realistic for him than throwing six in one game, which he did in Week 4. (24)

21. Blake Bortles, Jaguars: He’s keeping everyone happy, spreading the ball around to 10 different receivers while tossing for 388 yards against the Jets. (22)

22. Andrew Luck, Colts: This just in ... His shoulder is fine. (23)

23. Marcus Mariota, Titans: Breaking news ... He gives the Titans a better chance to win than Blaine Gabbert does. (27)

24. Dak Prescott, Cowboys: After only one completion per game of 20 yards in the first three weeks, Prescott unleashed the deep ball with four completions of 30 yards or more in a win over Detroit. (26)

25. Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins: He was looking so good, then it all came crashing down with a trip to Foxboro. (15)

26. Jameis Winston, Buccaneers: The league's fourth-leading passer now grabs a clipboard, and the Bucs’ offense likely will take a step back. (Ryan Fitzpatrick, 17)

27. C.J. BEATHARD, 49ERS: Here’s an exercise: Try to describe Beathard without falling back on such adjectives as “tough,” “scrappy,” “gritty” and “competitive.” (29)

28. Baker Mayfield, Browns: If he wins again anytime in the next 600 days, he’ll be ahead of Cleveland's usual pace. (25)

29. Case Keenum, Broncos: John Elway hasn't exactly been great recently at finding quarterbacks. (28)

30. Sam Darnold, Jets: The rookies are at the bottom, jockeying to lowly move up the list. (30)

31. Josh Rosen, Cardinals: After an OK starting debut in Seattle, things should get a little easier for the rookie at Levi’s Stadium. (32)

32. Josh Allen, Bills: It was a brief stay out of the bottom spot for Allen. Even with the rules tilted heavily toward the passing game, the Bills on Sunday managed just 87 net passing yards, including seven sacks, in Green Bay. (31)
