An elite class of Super Bowl contenders is forming. The NFL’s top teams are established after seven weeks, with some outstanding play from the league’s best. The playoffs, it seems, will be fun to watch. Other games in the interim, like Rams-49ers for example, were not.
There’s a despondent crew at the bottom, with the two Bay Area teams stuck in a group that stands zero chance. Expect, of course, against each other. Somebody has to win those games. We think.
