Many know Jon Gruden as "Chucky" due to his look and intense scowl. For Oklahoma star receiver CeeDee Lamb, the Raiders coach has a much friendlier moniker.
"That's my dog," Lamb told ESPN's Josina Anderson before Thursday's 2020 NFL Draft. But Lamb also said he couldn't get a firm grip on Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock.
A source re-affirmed to Anderson how much the Silver and Black like Lamb despite the coach and GM giving him their best poker faces.

[RELATED: Building an A-plus Raiders draft class]
Lamb, 6-foot-2 and 198 pounds, is considered the best receiver by many in what is a stacked draft class. He regularly is lumped in with Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs of Alabama.
The Sooner star doesn't have Ruggs' speed, however, he still ran a 4.5 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine. Lamb also might be the best player in the draft with the ball in his hands. He averaged an insane 21.4 yards per catch as a junior while scoring 14 touchdowns.
Good luck trying to tackle this.
Lamb went to the Raiders with the No. 12 pick in Scott Bair's mock draft, as well as Josh Schrock and I's final one. It's easy to see Lamb becoming quarterback Derek Carr's top target from Day 1.
Adding Lamb to Tyrell Williams, Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller would give Carr, or whoever plays QB in Las Vegas, a dangerous trio to throw passes to.
