The 49ers have two chances to find a star this year in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Not to be that guy, but there certainly is a chance at least one of their selections -- No. 13 and No. 31 -- simply doesn't pan out.
While the 49ers have found some stars like George Kittle late in the draft, there also have been many busts with their higher picks. It's not like the 49ers are alone here, though.
The NFL draft is a crapshoot. It's not an exact science. Not even close. There will be hits and misses this year and every year after that.
