Johnson, 5-foot-11 and 181 pounds, was a star at Toledo the last two seasons. Between his sophomore and junior years, he hauled in 123 receptions for 2,039 yards and 21 touchdowns.
The newest Steeler also had big numbers as a kick and punt returner in college. He scored four touchdowns -- two on kickoffs, two on punts -- as a return man.
