
FOXBORO, Mass. -- Randy Moss caught two passes for 36 yards on the 49ers' opening drive Sunday night against the New England Patriots to move into third place on the all-time NFL receiving list.
After the first series of the game, which Moss capped with a 24-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Colin Kaepernick, Moss moved ahead of Isaac Bruce with 15,220 career yards. Bruce had 15,208 yards in his career with the St. Louis Rams and 49ers.
Each of the top four receivers in NFL history played for the 49ers: Jerry Rice (22,895) and Terrell Owens (15,934).

Moss, who played for the Patriots from 2007 to '10, caught a 24-yard touchdown pass to give the 49ers a 7-0 lead to cap a six-play, 63-yard drive.
