ALAMEDA -- It turns out Denarius Moore did not practice Wednesday morning after all. And the injury is a sprained right ankle, not a foot. The rookie wide receiver was dressed to practice during the media window at the start of practice but shut it down shortly thereafter."Yeah, it was just to really see where I was standing at, as far as this week," Moore said following practice. "And so we're still taking it day by day, see how it's going to go."

Moore said he was injured in Minnesota, returning a Chris Kluwe punt 34 yards in the third quarter when he was caught by Greg Camarillo."He just landed on it during a punt return," Moore said. "He came from behind and tackled me and landed on my ankle."So how was it feeling after a failed attempt at practicing on it?"Eh, it's so-so," Moore said. "It's still day-by-day. It's getting better, though."Yeah, things are looking pretty well. It's better than what we thought it was going to be so, just taking it day-by-day."
