MINNEAPOLIS -- A lot of question have floated in about the Raiders' home game next Sunday against Chicago possibly being "flexed" to a Sunday night national television affair on NBC.Sorry, but it's not going to happen.Per league mandate, such an announcement to move a game has to come no later than 12 days prior to said game. And since no such announcement has been made yet, you're stuck seeing Pittsburgh at Kansas City next Sunday night.Looking ahead, then, the "scheduled" Sunday night games are Indianapolis at New England on Dec. 4, the New York Giants at Dallas on Dec. 11, Baltimore at San Diego on Dec. 18 and Chicago at Green Bay on Dec. 25.The NFL has already announced that the Bears-Packers game on Christmas night will not be moved. The league, though, has yet to announce the Sunday night finale, "but an afternoon game with playoff implications will be moved to that time slot to conclude the season," according to NFL.comThe Raiders play host to the Chargers that day, and it could well be for the AFC West championship. That might be Oakland's best shot at getting flexed into a Sunday night game, what with relatively ho-hum Sunday afternoon games left at Miami (Dec. 4), at Green Bay (Dec. 11) and vs. Detroit (Dec. 18). The Raiders' game at Kansas City is on Saturday, Dec. 24 and is, thus, ineligible to be flexed since only Sunday afternoon games are eligible. Then again, Oakland has this little matter of playing a dangerous Minnesota team first, on Sunday.
