The 49ers picked a wide receiver in the first round of Thursday’s NFL draft, hoping Brandon Aiyuk’s blazing speed can bring a new dimension to coach Kyle Shanahan's offense.
But San Francisco also is looking to part ways with some speed on the outside, as the team continues to entertain trade offers for veteran Marquise Goodwin.
It was believed Goodwin could be moved during Round 1, but 49ers general manager John Lynch indicated late Thursday night that the team is continuing to shop the receiver.

"We're talking with a few teams, and we'll see where that goes tomorrow," Lynch told reporters on a Zoom conference call.
"He's an extremely talented player who is a game-changer in terms of what he does to defenses. So, there is interest out there. We'll see where that goes. We're trying to find a good home for him."
