Lott on Jim Harbaugh: ‘Unbelievable job'

Talk about praise. Former 49er and Hall-of-Fame safety Ronnie Lott took to the airways on SiriusXM Radio's "Movin' the Chains" on Wednesday and gushed about the job done by first-year head coach Jim Harbaugh:I think that when you look at all the factors and you look at everything that theyve been able to accomplish and you look at all the great coaches that have ever played this game, this might be the greatest coaching that Ive ever seen in the history of the game of professional football.
Its his first season as an NFL head coach and not only is he hitting it out of the park but, man, hes hitting all the notes. Everything that you can think of, hes done. And by the way, they couldve easily been undefeated because that game they had against the Cowboys, if it wasnt for a great play at the end they end up winning that game.
So to me, Harbaugh has done more than any coach thats ever been in his situation, more than any coach thats ever been a first time coach. To not have a mini-camp, not to have any of these things that people would want to have before they start the season? Unbelievable job."Movin' the Chains" with hosts Pat Kirwan and Jason Horowitz airs weekdays noon to 4.p.m. PT on Sirius XM NFL Radio channel 88.
