Quarterback Colin Kaepernick continues to undergo rehabilitation in Vail, Colorado, with no timetable set on being cleared for football activity, according to a source.
"He's definitely working hard," the source said.
Kaepernick underwent surgical procedures to repair a torn ligament in his right thumb and arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Jan. 6 at the Steadman Clinic in Colorado.

In pictures posted on the Instagram account for Camp Taylor early this week, Kaepernick was shown no longer wearing in a sling for his shoulder. He was also wearing only a light brace on his left thumb. According to a source, the cast was recently removed from Kaepernick’s throwing hand.
The shoulder surgery was expected to require a rehabilitation of four to six months. Kaepernick is expected to make full recoveries from each of his surgeries in plenty of time for the upcoming season.

Kaepernick’s future with the 49ers remains in question. He is scheduled to earn a base salary of $11.9 million, which becomes fully guaranteed if he remains on the roster on April 1.
