Kaepernick shows support for demonstration outside of NFL offices

Over 1,000 people rallied in front of the National Football League's offices in New York on Wednesday to show support for former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

A large amount of these supporters donned Kaepernick 49ers jerseys. The group's belief is that Kaepernick, who remains a free agent, is being blackballed by the NFL for refusing to stand during the national anthem last season as a protest against social and racial injustices, as well as police brutality against African Americans.

On Thursday, Kaepernick took to social media to thank his supporters.
