Kaepernick completed 13 of 24 passes for just 124 yards against a stifling Seahawks defense just four days after throwing for 340 yards in a victory over the Baltimore Ravens that snapped the 49ers’ four-game losing streak.
“A couple of those were throwaways,” Kaepernick said of some of his passes that sailed out of bounds or came up short of the intended targets. “I’m not going to force a ball into a window, turn it over, especially when we’re in a backed up situation.”
