A torn ACL didn't allow Jimmy Garoppolo to give his 49ers teammates much on the field this season.
But his endorsement deal with the Jordan Brand has allowed the quarterback to give them all a nice Christmas gift.
According to 49ers team reporter Keiana Martin, Garoppolo gifted Jordan XI shoes to each player in the locker room.

Those kicks normally retail for $220, but they're on sale on Nike's website for $154.97 due to limited sizes remaining.
If Garoppolo gave a pair of shoes to the remaining 52 players on the 49ers' 53-man roster, the total retail value of the gift would be $11,440. If he included the 10-man practice squad, the value jumps to $13,640.
We're not sure if Garoppolo had to pay for the shoes himself, but if he did, it shouldn't be a problem, considering he signed a five-year, $137 million contract with the 49ers last offseason.

Garoppolo told ESPN in August that he signed with the Jordan Brand over the summer.
After winning all five of his starts with the 49ers in 2017, Garoppolo entered the 2018 with sky-high expectations. But he tore his left ACL against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3, and now waits for his chance in 2019.
