
The 49ers retained undrafted rookie tight end Garrett Celek on their 53-man roster and exposed Konrad Reuland to waivers.
On Saturday, Reuland found a home, as the New York Jets claimed him off waivers, agent Joe Panos said.
Reuland, who spent all of last season on the 49ers' practice squad, led the 49ers during this exhibition season with nine catches for 73 yards. He was among the 49ers' final cuts on Friday.

Reuland was one of five former Jim Harbaugh players at Stanford to be released Friday by the 49ers. The 49ers also waived two of Harbaugh's former players at the University of San Diego, quarterback Josh Johnson and Eric Bakhtiari.
