SANTA CLARA – Outside linebacker Aaron Lynch will miss his second consecutive game due to a concussion he sustained Dec. 6 against the Chicago Bears.
Lynch, the 49ers’ leading pass-rusher, was listed among the 49ers’ seven inactive players for Sunday’s game against the AFC North-leading Cincinnati Bengals at Levi’s Stadium.
Lynch leads the 49ers with 6 ½ sacks. Ahmad Brooks is expected to start on one side with Corey Lemonier and Eli Harold sharing the chores on the other side. Tank Carradine is also expected to see time as an outside pass rusher in nickel situations. The 49ers rank 28th in the NFL in sacks per pass play. Brooks is second on the team with four sacks. Neither Lemonier nor Harold has recorded a sack.

Wide receiver Torrey Smith, who saw limited practice time due to back spasms and a toe injury, will play in his 78th consecutive game to open his NFL career. Smith is third on the 49ers with 24 receptions. He leads the team with a 22.8 average.
Linebacker Gerald Hodges will start in place of Michael Wilhoite, who is out for a second consecutive week with a high ankle sprain. And Marcus Martin shifts from center to left guard to take over for Alex Boone, who will miss the remainder of the season due to a MCL sprain in his right knee.
Daniel Kilgore will make his first start of the season at center. He started the first seven games of the 2014 season before sustaining a fractured left lower leg.
The 49ers will suit up rookie offensive lineman Ian Silberman for the first time since Week 2. Silberman replaces Jordan Devey on the 49ers’ 46-man game-day roster. Devey started the first nine games of the season before Andrew Tiller replaced him as the starting right guard.
