A handful of Santa Clara County high school students will be honored Tuesday night.
The 24th Annual REACH Youth Scholarship Awards, hosted by Hall of Fame safety Ronnie Lott and U.S. Women's World Cup icon Brandi Chastain, takes place at 5 p.m. PT on Tuesday night on NBC Sports Bay Area.
The program was created in 1997 as a way to provide college funds to Santa Clara County high school seniors who have overcome adversity to achieve excellence in academics and athletics.

In addition to Lott and Chastain, Bay Area sports stars Steph Curry, Jimmy Garoppolo and Brent Burns will make appearances.
