Hot take: Fire alarm interrupts Kyle Shanahan's press conference

There are hot takes, and then there's what happened at the 49ers' facility Monday afternoon.

About a minute into coach Kyle Shanahan's weekly press conference, a fire alarm went off in the building. A stunned Shanahan had just finished rattling off the team's injury report.

"Do we have to respect that?" Shanahan asked to the 49ers' public relations staff.

When they informed him that he did indeed have to leave, Shanahan seemed excited.

"Well, that's it for today," Shanahan said to the gathered media. He then left the podium.

About 90 seconds later, after the fire alarm had been turned off, Shanahan returned to the podium and resumed his press conference.

Shanahan has heard a lot of hot takes during his time as a coach, but this one probably was the most annoying.
