Harbaugh, Schwartz avoid fines from NFL

Jim Harbaugh and Jim Schwartz will not be fined by theNational Football League for their postgame skirmish in Detroit Sunday, according to Greg Aiello.Aiello, the NFLs Vice President of Communications, put outthree separate tweets Monday afternoon explaining the leagues reasoning:

On Detroit-SF coach incident, fortunately, there was nofighting and thus no basis for a fine... However, both coaches told RayAnderson today that their post-game conduct was wrong and will not happenagain. We believe their response is the correct one and that their post-gameconduct going forward will be more appropriate. In his Monday press conference, Harbaugh expressed regretregarding the incident after his team's 25-19 win in Detroit."Itwas an unfortunate incident that took place after the game, and I takeaccountability and responsibility for my part in that," Harbaugh said."The thing (I) feel bad about is it detracts from what our footballplayers did."
