The 49ers hosted a private, invite-only ceremony Tuesday night at the team's museum at Levi's Stadium to honor to the life of legendary wide receiver Dwight Clark, who passed away on June 4 after a battle with ALS.
A number of Clark's former teammates were in attendance, including Jerry Rice, Jesse Sapolu, Lawrence Pillers, Mike Wilson, Harris Barton and Eric Wright.
During the gathering, attendees reflected on Clark's legacy, reminisced about 'The Catch,' discussed the Golden Heart Fund and spoke about the letters fans wrote to Clark.
