"Excited to be announcing a pick at the NFL Draft tonight. A truly amazing day for everyone and I can't wait to be a part of it. #DraftDay," Boldin tweeted on Thursday afternoon.

“Right now, we’ve had no discussions with Anquan up to this point,” 49ers general manager Trent Baalke said in the NFL owners meetings in March. “We left it in the offseason that we’d get back together at some point and talk about his future and what he’s looking for. Have not had that conversation as of yet.
"I wouldn’t say that door has been shut by any stretch. But where it is, it’s where it was when we left off (the season). He’s going to explore his options, and we’re going to explore ours. We got a draft to go through. It would be later than sooner, in terms of the final decision that’s made.”
The 49ers have 12 picks in the draft -- tied with the Browns for most of any team.
Boldin was a Pro Bowler in 2003, 2006 and 2008.
