
The Los Angeles Rams have released QB Nick Foles the team announced today.
“We have been in contact with Nick and his representation throughout the offseason and we feel that this is the best decision for all parties involved,” Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher said. “We appreciate the contributions that Nick has made to our organization in his time as a Ram and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.”
Foles was acquired by the Rams in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2015 offseason. The Arizona product started all 11 games he appeared in during his lone season with the franchise. Foles threw for 2,052 yards and seven touchdowns, while completing 56 percent of his passes during the 2015 campaign.
