Alex Boone was unable to finish the Vikings' Monday night game against the Bears because of a concussion.
The former 49ers offensive lineman will not play on Sunday against the Lions, Minnesota announced on Friday.
Boone signed with the Vikings last offseason after spending six seasons in San Francisco.
