With Deebo Samuel out and the 49ers still searching for receivers, they could target these five players before the trade deadline.

For the second straight season, will 49ers general manager John Lynch be on the look for a receiver before the Nov. 3 trade deadline?
Deebo Samuel is expected to miss at least the next two games after sustaining a hamstring injury in the 49ers' win over the New England Patriots. That's a big blow to the offense. Brandon Aiyuk is emerging as the star Kyle Shanahan envisioned and Kendrick Bourne gets the job done as a No. 3, but this offense still could use help out wide.
Here are five receivers the 49ers could target ahead of the trade deadline.

Jones, 30, is coming off his best game this season. After a slow start, Jones had five receptions for 80 yards in the Lions' last-second win over the Atlanta Falcons. He has just 19 receptions for 226 yards and one TD through six games.
The Cal product had 779 yards and nine touchdowns last season in just 13 games, and topped 1,000 yards in 2017. He still can take the top off the defense and would be a nice weapon for Jimmy Garoppolo. Jones is a free agent after this season.

This season can't get much worse for the Texans, and they very well could be in sell mode. They badly need draft picks and will have to dangle players, likely multiple receivers. It all starts with Fuller.
The former first-rounder is extremely hot and cold. He has three games over 100 yards this season, but also one without a single reception and only 35 receiving yards last week. There's no doubt the speedster is a game-changer when healthy, but that's a big if. Fuller is a free agent after this season.

The fire sale continues in Houston. Fuller isn't the only receiver the Texans could trade -- not even close. Kenny Stills has been the odd man out this season, but he still could help teams.
Stills, 28, only has 10 receptions for 138 yards and one touchdown this season in Houston. The previous three years with the Miami Dolphins, he averaged over 653 receiving yards and over five touchdowns. Lynch probably could scoop him up for a sixth-round pick. Stills is a free agent after this season.

Since being selected No. 9 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, it simply hasn't worked out well for Ross in Cincy. Not at all.
He began to turn a corner last year when he had 506 receiving yards in just eight games and averaged over 18 yards per catch. But Mr. 4.22 has only played in three games this season and has two receptions. He needs a change of scenery, and perhaps Kyle Shanahan can get the best out of him. Ross is a free agent after this season.

With Dede Westbrook sustaining a torn ACL, the Jaguars could be reluctant to trade Cole. But that's far from a guarantee.
The fourth-year pro already has more receiving yards this season than he did in 2019. Cole, 27, has 28 receptions for 374 yards and three touchdowns in seven games. He isn't a game-changer, but a solid pro. Cole is a free agent after this season.
