Now that Jared Goff has made the move from college to the NFL, he must begin the process of learning the pro-style offense.
After three years in the Bear Raid offense at Cal, Goff is getting his feet wet in the Los Angeles Rams' offense during this week's rookie minicamp in Oxnard, Calif.

"It was nice to get out here," Goff said after practice earlier this week, according to The Associated Press. "Get running around, get to sweat a little bit, throw the ball around, play catch."
What has it been like trying to pick up the Rams' offense?
"It's almost like you're learning a different language," Goff said. "It's like you're going into Spanish class. You have to become fluent in Spanish over however long a time it is. There's a lot of stuff that translates, that I kind of understand that it's a different word, and there's lots of stuff that I'm learning. Today it went really well. I felt like I picked it up as the day went on and got better."
As for head coach Jeff Fisher, he's been impressed with what he's seen of the No. 1 overall pick so far.

“He’s doing a great job picking up our offense. We’ve given him a lot more information than we did at the private workout and then that we did here at our meeting, and he’s handled it without any problem. And that’s the impressive thing," Fisher said, according to TheRams.com.
And as the Rams had hoped, Goff is staying late at the team's facility and putting in the work.
“I passed him last night walking to the room and he was leaving the meeting room at 10 o’clock. He’s that kind of guy. He’ll spend the time. It’s important to him,” Fisher told the team's website.
Earlier this week, Goff expanded on the similarities and differences between the offense he ran at Cal and the one he's trying to learn with the Rams.
"There is a lot that translates," Goff said. "Most of the (shotgun) stuff translates, all of it. There's under-center stuff that I'm picking up as I go, and it's gone really well so far."
