Final offensive play in Oakland Raiders history? Missed two-point conversion

And with that 16-15 loss to the Denver Broncos, the Oakland Raiders are no more ...

Before the organization officially re-brands as the Las Vegas Raiders for the 2020 NFL season, the team had one more chance to give its Oakland fans a win Sunday in Denver.

Despite their playoff hopes already being dashed, Derek Carr and Co. drove down the field and scored a touchdown with five seconds to go, cutting the Broncos' lead from 16-9 to 16-15.

Coach Jon Gruden decided to go for the win and attempt a two-point conversion instead of playing for overtime. It did not end well, though, as Carr's pass was batted down at the line by Broncos defensive lineman Shelby Harris.

A fitting end to the Raiders franchise's second stint in Northern California.

Although they’ll no longer play games in Oakland, the Raiders still plan to host training camp in Napa next summer.
