UPDATE (10:00 a.m. on Thursday) -- Latavius Murray will reportedly make roughly $15 million over his three-year deal with the Vikings, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The deal includes $3.4 million guaranteed with another $5.15 guaranteed if he is on the roster in 2018, according to ESPN's Ben Goessling.

Latavius Murray is headed out of town. The Raiders feature back signed with the Minnesota Vikings, the team announced late Wednesday night.

Murray visited the Vikings facility early this week, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press and stayed in town while a deal got hammered out.
The deal is for three years, but can be voided after the first by Murray, according to ESPN.
Murray was a sixth-round pick in 2013, and became the team’s primary rusher late in his second season. He carried a significant load in 2015, when he was named to the Pro Bowl. Murray was part of a rotation last year, with 228 touches. He averaged 4.0 yards per carry in each of the last two years.
The Central Florida product wanted to stay put, and quarterback Derek Carr made a repeated, public plea for the Raiders to retain him.

The Raiders didn’t show satisfactory interest, and Murray bolted to be Adrian Peterson’s likely replacement in Minnesota.
The Raiders still need a bigger, more physical running back, and one could come in the NFL Draft. That position group’s draft class is deep, and value can be found in several rounds.
Peterson remains out there, though the Raiders generally prefer to go young at that position. A proper deal could create a Peterson union, though the likelihood of that remains uncertain.
Murray was immensely popular in the Raiders locker room, and formed a strong bond with Carr. There was clear pessimism about the sides ability to form a new pact, which made it likely Murray would look for other opportunities.
Murray also reportedly visited the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he knows quarterback and former college teammate Blake Bortles.
