
Linebacker Quentin Groves, who spent the last two seasons with the Raiders, signed a free-agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday.
The Cardinals announced the deal; terms of the contract werent disclosed.
Groves (6-foot-3, 265) was traded to Oakland for a fifth-round draft pick in 2010 after two seasons with Jacksonville.

He was a starter for much of his first season with the Raiders but was relegated to backup duty after early season trade for Aaron Curry.
Groves has 95 career tackles, 2 sacks, two interceptions, six passes defensed, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He never recorded a sack as a member of the Raiders.
Groves also worked out for the New York Giants. Arizona released receiver Mark Wilson to make room for Groves on the roster.
Groves posted two messages on his Twitter feed Thursday afternoon -- first "Go CARDS" and then "What's a great place to eat in Phoenix?"
