Here's hoping you're not a 49ers fan who bet the under on their Week 15 game against the Falcons at Levi's Stadium.
If you cheer for San Francisco, you're likely already a bit enraged after the 49ers suffered a letdown loss to Atlanta on Sunday, in which the Falcons retook the lead in the final seconds. But if you bet the under, too ... well, that's the definition of adding insult to injury.
After Julio Jones caught a touchdown pass to put Atlanta up 23-22 with five seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, the 49ers' chances of winning already were incredibly slim. The Falcons failed to convert the two-point conversion, and the 49ers attempted a hook-and-ladder play on the ensuing kickoff.

It did not work out as hoped.
The 49ers wound up fumbling on the return and Olamide Zaccheaus recovered it in the end zone to increase Atlanta's lead to 29-22 as time expired. The extra score didn't change the ultimate result, but it did screw over anyone who had bet the under.
Guess what that was?
Yep. 50.
The Falcons scored 12 points in the final two seconds to push the game total to 51. Oof.
